- Zoom strengthening partner ecosystem across India and SAARC region
Zoom has appointed Arijit Dey as channel leader for India and SAARC, tasking him with expanding the company’s partner network across the region as organisations increasingly adopt collaboration and customer experience tools.
Dey, who brings more than 24 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development and strategic partnerships, will oversee Zoom’s channel strategy for India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation countries.
His responsibilities include deepening partner engagement and driving growth through the company’s network of resellers and systems integrators.
“Our partner ecosystem is central to how we bring Zoom’s innovations to our customers across India and SAARC,” said Jacob Pereira, head of APAC Partners at Zoom. “Arijit brings deep channel expertise and a strong track record of building strategic alliances that drive growth.”
Background in Customer Experience Platforms
Before joining Zoom, Dey served as director of strategic partnerships at Genesys, a customer experience software company. In that role, he drove the adoption of CCaaS — contact centre as a service, a cloud-based model that allows companies to manage customer interactions without maintaining on-premise infrastructure — through collaborations with service providers and systems integrators.
Throughout his career, Dey has held leadership positions at telecommunications companies and technology startups, where he built enterprise businesses and developed partner ecosystems.
“Organisations in India and SAARC are looking beyond productivity gains and asking how AI can help them drive better customer and employee experiences, make faster decisions, and achieve stronger business outcomes,” said Sameer Raje, general manager and head of India and SAARC, Zoom.
“Partners are critical to helping customers realise that value, and Arijit’s appointment reflects our continued investment in the ecosystem,” Raje added.

Focus on Partner Programme
Dey said he would work to expand Zoom’s presence through its partner network. “I am excited to join Zoom and work alongside our partners across India and SAARC to help organisations embrace modern collaboration and customer experience solutions,” he said. “Zoom has built a strong reputation for innovation and partner success, and I look forward to growing this ecosystem.”
Under Dey’s leadership, Zoom plans to strengthen its Zoom Up Partner Programme, which provides tools, training and access to the company’s product portfolio for channel partners.
The company’s offerings include Zoom Workplace for internal collaboration, Zoom Phone for business telephony, Zoom Contact Center for customer service operations and Zoom Events for virtual gatherings.
The appointment comes as Zoom seeks to deepen its footprint in enterprise markets beyond its core video conferencing product, competing with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex and other unified communications providers in the region.
