OPPO Find X10 series launch date: Triple 200MP cameras, specs

Key Points

  • OPPO Find X10 Series launches globally on 21 October in Mallorca, Spain
  • Find X10 Pro Max features industry’s first triple 200MP camera system
  • Both models carry 8,000mAh silicon-carbon batteries with five-year durability claims

will launch its Find X10 series globally on 21 October in Mallorca, Spain, with the flagship smartphones featuring what the company calls the industry’s first triple 200MP camera system developed in partnership with Hasselblad.

The Find X10 Pro Max carries three 200-megapixel sensors across its ultra-wide, main and telephoto cameras, a configuration that OPPO says has not appeared on any smartphone before. The standard Find X10 uses a dual 200MP camera setup.

Both devices run OPPO’s new LUMO True Image Engine, a computational photography system designed to process colour and tone information from a dedicated sensor to produce what the company describes as more accurate representations of scenes.

Pete Lau, senior vice president and chief product officer, OPPO, said the new series shows the company’s focus on mobile imaging. “Together with Hasselblad, we are taking another significant step forward with Find X10 Series, bringing true-to-life detail, colour and tone to everyday photography,” Lau said. “Simply open the camera and capture the moment as you see it, with no extra settings required.”

The announcement positions OPPO against other flagship smartphone makers competing on camera specifications, including Samsung’s Galaxy S series and Apple’s iPhone Pro lineup, both of which have emphasised computational photography improvements in recent product cycles.

OPPO Find X10 series specifications

The Find X10 Pro Max is among the first smartphones to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, manufactured on a 2-nanometre process node, meaning transistors are packed more densely for improved power efficiency and processing speed. The standard Find X10 runs on the Dimensity 9600M.

Both models feature an 8,000mAh battery using silicon-carbon chemistry, which allows higher energy density than conventional lithium-ion cells. OPPO claims the battery can deliver up to two days of typical use on a single charge and retain more than 80 per cent of its original capacity after five years of typical use. Battery capacity may vary by market, with some regions receiving a 7,150mAh variant.

For video recording, the Find X10 Pro Max supports 4K footage at 120 frames per second and 8K at 30 frames per second across all three rear cameras. OPPO has introduced what it calls Open Gate Capture, which uses the full imaging area of the sensor to give creators more flexibility to crop and reframe footage for different aspect ratios in post-production.

The Find X10 Pro Max in Luna White features a camera module with a matte silver metallic finish, knurled detailing and Hasselblad’s signature orange accent ring. The rear panel combines smooth matte glass with a fabric-inspired pattern. The Find X10 will be available in Glacier Blue, Coral and Mist Grey, while the Pro Max comes in Titanium Grey and Luna White.

Both devices ship with ColorOS 17, OPPO’s latest Android-based operating system. The includes what the company calls AI Mind Pilot with Agent Mode, a feature that connects artificial intelligence capabilities with files and photos stored on the device to help users complete tasks through natural language prompts.

OPPO has not disclosed pricing for either model. Full specifications, regional pricing and availability including for India is expected to be announced at the global launch on 21 October.
