How to use the Kores EasyCut 825? 
Prepare the Papers
Remove thick clips or pins. Stack the sheets neatly and stay within the machine’s sheet capacity.
Power On the Shredder
Connect to a power source and switch the shredder to Auto mode to enable automatic sensing.
Insert the Documents
Feed the papers, CDs or cards (if supported) into the slot. The shredder will start automatically.
Empty the Waste Bin
Once shredding is complete, switch OFF, pull out or lift the bin, and empty the shredded waste safely.
How do I operate the shredder?
It has three switch settings:
AUTO – shredding begins automatically when paper is inserted
REV – reverses the cutters to clear jams
OFF – for stopping or emptying the bin
Does the shredder have safety warnings I should follow?
Yes. The manual advises to avoid touching the intake opening, keep long hair and loose clothing away, keep children away, and avoid inserting metal items like paper clips into the cutting head.
What should I do if the shredder gets jammed?
To clear a paper jam, switch the shredder to REV to back the paper out, then remove any remaining scraps from the feed slot. For tougher jams, turn off and unplug the shredder, lift the head off the bin, clear the blockage, and resume in AUTO mode.
Is the machine easy to set up?
Yes. Simply place the shredder head securely on the wastebasket and plug it into a 230V AC outlet.
Does the shredder stop automatically if overloaded?
Yes. EasyCut 882 includes a motor overload protection system. It stops automatically if too much paper is inserted or if it runs beyond its cycle time.
