The Find N6 features what OPPO calls ‘Zero-Feel Crease’ technology, a combination of new hinge design and display materials that the company says makes the centre fold invisible to both sight and touch. Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at OPPO, said the company had achieved “a major breakthrough in hinge architecture and display materials”. He added that the technology opens “new possibilities for what a foldable smartphone experience can be”.

Technical specifications and design

The device carries a 200-megapixel primary camera developed in partnership with Hasselblad, the Swedish camera manufacturer. OPPO claims the camera system delivers professional-grade imaging without the large camera bump typical of high-resolution smartphone sensors.

OPPO describes the Find N6 as among the thinnest book-style foldables currently available, though it has not released exact measurements. Book-style foldables open like a book to reveal a tablet-sized inner display, as opposed to flip-style devices that fold vertically.

The smartphone will be available in two colours: Stellar Titanium and Blossom Orange. The orange variant features a titanium alloy hinge with a -plated finish using genuine gold, according to OPPO.

AI stylus and productivity features

Find N6 supports the OPPO AI Pen, a stylus with built-in artificial intelligence features. The accessory is designed to work with the larger inner display for note-taking, document annotation and other productivity tasks. OPPO has not disclosed whether the AI Pen will be bundled with the device or sold separately.

The stylus includes what OPPO describes as ‘integrated intelligent features’, though specific capabilities have not been detailed ahead of the launch event.

OPPO Find N6 foldable pricing and availability

OPPO has not announced Indian pricing or availability for the Find N6. The company’s previous foldable, the Find N3, launched in India at ₹94,999 in late 2023, positioning it against Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series and Vivo’s X Fold range.

The Indian foldable market remains a niche segment dominated by Samsung, which holds the largest share of devices priced above ₹1 lakh. However, Chinese manufacturers including OPPO, Vivo and OnePlus have increased their presence with competitive offerings over the past two years.

Foldable smartphones accounted for less than one per cent of India’s overall smartphone shipments in 2024, according to industry estimates, though the segment has grown year-on-year as prices have gradually decreased.

The global launch event takes place on 17 March at OPPO’s Binhai Bay Campus in Shenzhen, China. Full specifications, global pricing and regional availability are expected to be confirmed at the event. Indian launch details typically follow global announcements by several weeks.
